Painting for Wisdom Beyond Borders, Singapore Grand Finale 2012 entitled “Lekok batu yang keras di-titik air selalu”.

Custom painting contribution based on Asian proverbs for the Wisdom Beyond Borders, Singapore Grand Finale 2012. One of the nine pieces of artwork which will be auctioned off to aid for the Thailand Flood Relief.

Title: Lekok batu yang keras di-titik air selalu

Medium: Acrylic On Canvas

Size: 100cm x 100cm

Malay Proverb:

Lekok batu yang keras di-titik air selalu

Translation in English:

An impression can be made on stone if water constantly drips on it.

Meaning:

With hard work and determination, mountains and other obstacles can be conquered.

For this art piece, I ‘sketch’ out my interpretation of the proverb in music which inspires me and I then ‘transfer’ this influences onto the canvas.

Special thanks to Michael Ng Mindflyer for the link up and Tulaya Pornpiriyakulchai for this great and meaningful opportunity to be a part of this.
